Joey all grown up

Well here's Joey, if you haven't seen him in a while. He will be going to college in the fall. Can you believe it. It seems like yesterday that he was in our room in his crib waking us up at night. He was and still is an incredible kid (man?)wow time flies. We hope to all come down for his graduation then travel to Asheville for a sister reunion. Pray for Joey that he gets into the school of God's choice and gets lots of scholarship money or grants. He wants to be a lawyer. Our family could probably use one!!!!

Visiting Romania

This was Simeon's reaction when he heard his two grandmas were coming to Romania in March. (or maybe it's a picture of him this summer playing with cousins). At least in my mind's eye this is it. If you haven't heard I will be traveling to Romania with Ella Hunter in March. I am very excited and picking up on my treadmilling to get ready for all that glorious walking we do there. I'm so grateful to God to let me go. It will be fun. I won't get to stay long, but it will be God's perfect timing. Pray for us. Thanks.

My car

Well for those of you just dying to know what replaced my faithful van, here it is. It wasn't what I would imagine, but it's been growing on me. It has a lot more play in the steering than I'm use to, so that's scarey, but it's getting me around. It can't fit all my grandkids at once, but it can fit some so for now. Marky will probably inherit it when he gets that license he's chomping at the bit for.

Arden Home

Here's a picture of our new house. It's in a nice neighborhood with a lot of older people (like us), but there's plenty of young ones too. Lots and lots of trees and beautiful plant life. We have a deck in the back that we really enjoy eating on or just looking out our glass door to see our beautiful back yard. Very peaceful. It amazes me that I live in such a beautiful place.

Summer wedding

Here's Andy and his beautiful bride. They met at college. We got to see Tina and John, all Sandy's family, and all the other Klepac kids it was fun for us. We pray God's blessings on this union.

Andy's wedding

I just found a whole stash of great pics from my nephew Andy's wedding this
summer. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding. We took Grace and of course Marky with us.
Grace doesn't like getting her picture taken, but I was happy to see a picture with the two of us.

Thanks be given

Here's th whole gang. You can see our whole dining room too.
To the left is a big sliding glass door. Straight ahead the kids
are looking into the kitchen. To the right is the living room.
It is truly a blessing to have 7 beautiful grandkids with two
more on the way. Grace and Faith and I are really glad
it's two more girls. The boys really outnumber us.
The cups you see we made so the kids would have something to drink
in when they're over (that won't be so easy to spill)
They have the Bible meanings of all their great names and some original
artwork on them.

Thanksgiving in our new home

I am always quite amazed at how much time has
passed since my last blog. I wish I was quicker about it.
This of course is Samuel, 4 and Faith just turned 7.
They are great buddies. They always think it's very
special to use great grandmas china. We fit everyone in,
all twelve of us by adding a few more stools to the bar.

Time in the moutains

Mark and Judah, our oldest grandson took a day to hike, fish, and enjoy the beauty of North Carolina Mountains. Judah fell twice and got stung by a hornet!!, but other than that they both had a very good day.

Visitors to the new house

Our friends the Stewarts from Ohio came by for a fun weekend. This is our new house. We had just moved in. Karen Knopp and Peggy Sopenski had just left a few days before. I guess I'd moaned enough about not having friends that the Lord thought He'd send me a few!! Thanks Lord. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the girls visit. There's nothing like friends who have known you since before your boss was born???

Shiloh painters

Thought you might like to see a picture of some of our guys. Mark sure loves the guys who work for Shiloh. We are in our new office now. I was going to give you some pics of the house, but someone broke into Isaac truck and stole his camera.

All together, a miracle!!

Well none of the pictures have us all smiling or looking in the same direction, but that's pretty typical of us. We tend to smile and move in different directions at different times, but it sure good to stand next to each other anyway.

New grandbaby

The lastest news is that Isaac's family has begun the process to
adopt a little girl, she'll be younger than Samuel from Ethiopia.
Molly has been working non stop on paper work. It's incredible how
much there is to do. So we need to move out soon, though they claim
it would be good if we stayed. So remember to pray for our house to sell and
the next home God has for us.

Time for Birthdays!!

Believe or not Samuel is 4 years old now. May is a big birthday month for us, Marklar turned 15, Mark turned I think 39, John Gilliam74?, and Bob Maki, big 60, and of course Samuel.

Klepac Baptisms

Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I've written. I've got a lot of catching up to do. This is Marklar getting baptized. Tom Camacho, associate pastor, and Mark's friend. He's been disciplining Mark in evangelism. They go once a week downtown to share with people. Scott Luper is in the back, he's on the board and a good friend to our family. He and his wife minister to the large hispanic population in our area. That's my baby? Isaac on the right. Mark and I were on the banks. IT was an interesting place to get to, but a place with a lot of great history.

This is Eli, my grandson, Isaac's second son. When Judah and Eli heard about Mark wanting to be baptized they asked a lot of questions and wanted to be baptized also. It's wonderful how family works and allows us to encourage each other. It's so good for Mark to be by his older brother and his nephews and neices.

And then there's Judah. The angels were rejoicing. We had refreshments served afterwards and got to hear some great mission stories and history.

Here's Isaac and Molly on their day trip from their cruise. This is a live creature

They look like they're having a good time. I of course was having more fun with
5 grandkids and Mark and Marky sick.

These are Molly's parents. Bobbi and I go to
the Cove (Billy Graham's place) every Tuesday
morning to do a women's study on Hopelessness.
We usually get lunch too. They have a great chef.
It's been great getting to know Bobbi. She's been a real friend to us.
John and Bobbi have been traveling to Kenya and other
places in Africa sharing the Word and love of the Lord a couple
times a year.
